Ingredients
  

  • 10 – 12 nos Jackfruit / பலாப் பழம்
  • 1 tbsp Coconut / தேங்காய் - sliced
  • 1 cup Jaggery / வெல்லம் - grated
  • 10 nos Cashew nut / முந்திரிப் பருப்பு
  • 10 nos Raisin
  • 2 tbsp Ghee / நெய்
  • 1 cup Coconut Milk, thick
  • 2 cup Coconut Milk, thin
  • 1 nos Cardamom, Green / ஏலக்காய் - powdered (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Pressure cook jackfruit with enough water upto 2 whistles
  • Grind cooked jackfruit into fine paste
  • Dissolve and filter jaggery
  • Bring ground jackfruit and dissolved jaggery to a boil
  • Allow it to thicken a little
  • Add thin coconut milk and bring to a boil
  • Add thick coconut milk, mix well and switch off the flame
  • Garnish with fried coconut slices, cashew nuts, raisins in ghee
  • Serve hot
