Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Chembu - yam, cooked and peeled
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder / மல்லித் தூள்
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
  • 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 5 tbsp Sesame Oil / நல்லெண்ணெய்
  • 1 tbsp Besan flour / கடலை மாவு

Instructions
 

  • Mix besan/corn flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt in little oil
  • Marinate cooked chembu above mix for 10min
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add the marinated chembu into oil and fry it in medium flame until all sides are roasted
  • Serve hot with any rice item

Variation
* You could add garlic paste while marinating
