Chili Paneer
Ingredients
- 500 gm Paneer - cubes
- 3 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Maida - all purpose flour, plain flour
- 1 tsp Corn Flour
- 200 ml Oil / எண்ணெய்
- 1 pinch White Pepper powder
- ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
for Sauce
- 1½ tbsp Spring Onion
- 1 tbsp Garlic / பூண்டு - finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Corn Flour - mixed with water
- 2 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - finely chopped
- ½ tsp White Pepper powder
- ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு
Instructions
- Sprinkle maida (all purpose flour, plain flour), cornflour, finely chopped green chilies, pepper powder and soy sauce and mix well
- Fry the paneer pieces in hot oil and put the pieces on tissue paper, so as it absorbs the oil
- For the sauce, heat oil in a pan, add the spring onions and garlic pieces and fry for sometime, then add the green chilies
- Pour soya sauce, pepper powder, salt according to taste
- Add some water in the pan and once it starts boiling, add corn flour paste and paneer pieces and cook for a few minutes
- Switch off flame
- Serve hot
