Ingredients
  

  • 2 nos Carrot / காரெட் - peeled n grated
  • 2 nos Egg / முட்டை
  • 50 ml Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup All Purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 cup Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை
  • 50 ml Milk / பால்
  • 1 tbsp Chocolate powder
  • 50 gm Butter / வெண்ணெய்

Instructions
 

  • Grind carrot, egg, vegetable oil into smooth paste
  • Sieve all purpose flour, 1cup of sugar, baking powder
  • Add ground paste into it and mix well
  • Pour into a greased cake baking die
  • Pre-heat oven to 190°C
  • Bake for 45min
  • Check the consistency by pricking a tooth pick into the cake, the dough should not stick into it
  • Add 1cup of sugar, chocolate powder, milk and butter in a pan
  • Heat it in medium flame until it turns into a paste consistency
  • Pour over the baked cake
  • Slice the cake
