Crispy Bhindi
Ingredients
- 500 gm Okra / வெண்டைக் காய் - finely long cut
- 4 tbsp Besan flour / கடலை மாவு
- 1 tsp Rice flour / அசிரி மாவு
- 2 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 2 tsp Mango powder, Dry
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 5 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
Instructions
- Mix cut bhindi with 1tsp of oil, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, amchur in a bowl and marinate for 15min
- Add besan, rice flour and mix well
- Heat rest of oil in a pan
- Add the marinated mixture and cook in low flame until bhindis are crispy
- Turn the bhindis occasionally so that it roasts evenly
- Serve hot with rotis or rice
