Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Basmati Rice / பாசுமதி அரிசி
  • 2 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - slit
  • 1 tbsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
  • 2 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - chopped
  • 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - chopped
  • 5 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - chopped
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Heat  oil in a pan
  • Add cumin and allow it to splutter
  • Add garlic and sauté  until golden brown
  • Add onion and sauté until translucent
  • Add green chili, tomato, salt, pepper and little water and cook well
  • Add 3~4cups of water and bring to a boil
  • Add rice and cook well until tender
  • Add little extra water if the rice is not cooked well
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves
  • Serve hot
