Heat oil in a pan
Add cumin and allow it to splutter
Add garlic and sauté until golden brown
Add onion and sauté until translucent
Add green chili, tomato, salt, pepper and little water and cook well
Add 3~4cups of water and bring to a boil
Add rice and cook well until tender
Add little extra water if the rice is not cooked well
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves
Serve hot
