Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices Bread - preferably thick slices
  • 6 tbsp Corn flour
  • 4 drop Vanilla extract
  • 8 tbsp Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை
  • 50 gm Butter / வெண்ணெய்
  • 1 cup Milk / பால்

Instructions
 

  • Grind 2tbsp of sugar in a mixer
  • Mix 30gm of butter and 2tbsp of sugar and make it a paste
  • Add 4tbsp of sugar in warm milk
  • Slowly add corn flour and mix well
  • Add vanilla essence to the mix
  • Heat a non stick pan and grease it with butter
  • Soak the bread in the mix and toast it well in medium flame [30~45sec per side]
  • Coat the sugar and butter mix over the toasted bread
  • Ice it with powdered sugar
  • Serve hot with blue berry jam

Notes

Variation
* Instead of corn flour you may use custard powder too
