Gobi Mutter
Ingredients
- 1 nos Cauliflower - cut into florets
- 1½ cup Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி
- 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - chopped
- 2 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - chopped
- 1 inch piece Ginger / இஞ்சி - chopped
- 10 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - chopped
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்
- 1 ttsp Cumin powder / சீரகத் தூள்
- 1 tsp Coriander powder / மல்லித் தூள்
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி
- 1 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
- 2 tbsp Butter / வெண்ணெய்
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add garlic, ginger and sauté well
- Add onion and sauté till transparent
- Add tomato and cook till mushy
- Allow it to cool, and grind to a fine paste
- Add butter to the pan
- Add cauliflower florets, cook until tender
- Add green peas, add ½tsp of salt and cook until tender
- Add the ground paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, ½tsp of salt and mix well
- Cook covered for 5min
- Garnish with coriander leaves
- Serve hot with rotis or parathas
