Gobi Mutter Subji in Fresh Cream Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 nos Cauliflower - cut into flowerets
- 1 cup Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி
- 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
- 2 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - finely chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger / இஞ்சி - paste
- 1 tsp Garlic / பூண்டு - paste
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- ½ cup Fresh Cream / க்ரீம்
- 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add cumin and allow it to splutter
- Add ginger, garlic paste and fry for a min
- Add onion and fry until transparent
- Add tomato and fry until mushy
- Add fresh green peas and mix well
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, salt, mix well and cook for a min
- Add cauliflower, little water and cook until tender, stirring occasionally
- Add fresh cream, mix well and cook for 2 min in low flame
- Switch off flame
- Garnish with coriander
- Serve hot with roti
