Gobi Tikka Masala
Ingredients
- 4 people Gobi Tikka - http://en.nalabaagam.com/gobi-tikka/
- 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste / இஞ்சி விழுது
- 1 tbsp Garlic paste / பூண்டு விழுது
- 1 cup Tomato puree / தக்காளி விழுது
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 1½ tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - (adjust to your spice level)
- 1½ tsp Coriander powder / மல்லித் தூள்
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp Shahi Jeera
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - (adjust to your taste)
- 12 nos Cashew nut / முந்திரிப் பருப்பு
- ½ tsp Fenugreek leaves, Dry / வெந்தய இலை, உலர்ந்தது
- ¼ cup Fresh Cream / க்ரீம்
- 3 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
for Garnishing
- 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - largely cut
- 1 nos Capsicum, Green - largely cut
- 1 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - de-seeded, largely cut
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
Instructions
- Prepare Gobi Tikka as per http://en.nalabaagam.com/gobi-tikka/
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add largely cut onion, fry until translucent
- Add green capsicum, de-seeded tomato, fry well, keep aside
- Add shahi jeera, fry well
- Add cut chopped onion, fry well until brown
- Add ginger, garlic paste, mix & cook well
- Add tomato puree, mix & cook well
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, salt, mix & cook well
- Add cashew nut paste, fresh cream, mix well
- Add fried onion, capsicum, tomato pieces, kasoori methi, coriander leaves, mix well
- Add Gobi Tikka, mix well with the masala

Serve hot along with paratha, roti
