Green Peas Skin Soup
Tender Green Pea Pods - 3 cup
Green peas - 1 tbsp
Chopped Onions - ½ cup
Low fat Milk - 2 cup
Vegetable Stock - ½ cup
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Chopped Mint - 1 tbsp
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Ingredients
- 3 cup Tender Green Pea Pods
- 1 tbsp Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி
- ½ cup Onion / வெங்காயம் - chopped
- 2 cup Low fat Milk
- ½ cup Vegetable Broth
- 2 tbsp Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
- 1 tbsp Mint leaves, Fresh / புதீனா இலை - chopped
- 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - freshly ground
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and fry the onions for 1 minute.
- Add the green pea pods and green peas and cook for 3-4 min.
- Add the mixture and grind to a smooth puree in a blender.
- Strain and pour the puree back into the pressure cooker.
- Add salt, pepper and vegetable stock and simmer for a few minutes.
- Serve hot garnished with mint.
