Hara Bhara Kabab
Ingredients
- 2 cup Spinach leaves / பசலைக்கீரை - blanched n chopped
- 2 nos Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - boiled, peeled n grated
- ¾ cup Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி - boiled n mashed
- 1 tsp Chaat Masala
- 1 tsp Mango powder, Dry
- 1 tsp Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - paste
- 1 tsp Ginger / இஞ்சி - paste
- 1 cup Gram flour / கடலை மாவு
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 10 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
Instructions
- Roast gram flour in a pan until it gives aromatic and starts changing color [do not over roast]
- Mix spinach, potato, green peas, ginger, green chili and mix well
- Add chaat masala, amchur powder, salt, gram flour and mix well into thick kabab mixture
- Shape them into round patties
- Shallow pan fry them with little oil until golden brown
Notes
Serve hot with coriander chutney or tomato ketchup
