Japanese Chahan
Ingredients
- 2 cup Japanese Rice - cooked
- 3 nos Egg / முட்டை
- 100 gm Carrot / காரெட் - diced
- 3 tbsp Onion / வெங்காயம் - diced
- 4 tbsp Spring Onion - chopped
- 2 tbsp Capsicum, Red - diced
- 2 tbsp Capsicum, Yellow - diced
- 4 tbsp Cabbage / முட்டை கோஸ் - chopped
- 2 tbsp Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Cooking Wine
- 2 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust according to your taste
- 2 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - powdered
- 3 tbsp Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
Instructions
- Heat little oil in a pan (wok is apt)
- Add onion, sauté well until edges are fried
- Add carrot, peas, sauté well until soft
- Add red capsicum, yellow capsicum, cabbage, sprinkle a little salt, mix
- Fry for a couple of minutes
- Keep the fried vegetables aside
- Heat rest of oil
- Add egg, allow the white yolk to fry a little without breaking the yellow yolk
- Add rice, fry it along with the yellow yolk
- Add soy sauce, cooking wine, mix well
- Add rest of salt, black pepper, fried vegetables, spring onion, mix well
- Fry well for 2~3min in high flame
