Kinpira Gobo
Ingredients
- 100 gm Burdox Root - Gobo, peeled n cut long
- 100 gm Carrot / காரெட் - peeled n cut long
- 20 gm Lotus root - chopped
- 1 tsp Sesame seed, Black / எள்ளு, கருப்பு
- 1 tbsp Mirin - Rice Wine
- 1 tbsp Cooking Sake
- ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு
- 1 tbsp Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை
- 1 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய் - coarsely crushed
- 1 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add gobo and fry cook for 2min
- Add carrot and stir fry for 2min
- Add lotus root and stir fry for 2min
- Add mirin, cooking sake, salt, sugar, red chili and little water and cook until the liquid dries up
- Add sesame and stir well
- Serve hot or cold
