Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Sevai / சேவை - made out of 2 cups of rice
  • 2 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice / எலுமிச்சை சாறு
  • 3 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - chopped
  • 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
  • 1 tsp Chana Dhal / கடலைப் பருப்பு
  • 1 tsp Urad Dhal / உளுத்தம் பருப்பு
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
  • ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil / நல்லெண்ணெய்
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Temper mustard
  • Add channa dhal, urad dhal, fry until golden brown
  • Add ground nut, cashew nut, fry well
  • Add green chili, fry well
  • Add asafoetida, salt, turmeric powder and sauté for 2min
  • Switch off the flame
  • Mix it well with sevai
  • Add lemon juice
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
