Mushroom Fry
Ingredients
- 500 gm Button Mushroom / பட்டன் காளான்
- 1 nos Onion / வெங்காயம்
- 3 pod Garlic / பூண்டு
- ¼ inch Ginger / இஞ்சி
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்
- 1 tsp Coriander powder / மல்லித் தூள்
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 2 tbsp Besan flour / கடலை மாவு
- 4 tbsp Curd / தயிர் - whisked
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
- 2 tbsop Oil / எண்ணெய்
- ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
Instructions
- Wash mushrooms, drain and wipe them dry
- Grind onion, ginger, garlic into a fine paste
- Heat oil in a frying pan
- Add mushroom stir and sauté until mushroom becomes golden brown from sides
- Lower the flame and add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder one by one
- Stir well for few seconds
- Add besan and sauté it on low flame for 2~3min
- Remove pan from fire
- Add whisked curd, ground paste, stir well and sprinkle with salt
- Heat the pan again on a low flame and sauté the mixture until the mixture becomes dry
- Garnish with coriander leaves
- Serve hot
