Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Chinese Yam - peeled n cut circular, [Careful while cutting, due to presence of mucilage the yam becomes sticky]
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice / எலுமிச்சை சாறு

Instructions
 

  • Mix chinese yam, corn flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt well
  • Spray oil, toss well so that it is applied to all sides of yam
  • Spray lemon juice
  • Marinate it for about 30min
  • Pre-heat oven to 200°C
  • Arrange the yam over a baking sheet and roast for 15min
  • Turn the yam and spray/brush remaining oil and roast for another 10~15min or until crispy

Notes

Serve hot along with rice or just eat it
