Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Maida
  • ½ cup Chiroti Rava
  • 1 cup Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை
  • 500 ml Milk / பால்
  • 10 nos Almond / பாதாம்
  • 4 – 5 strands Saffron / குங்குமப் பூ
  • 1 pinch Salt / உப்பு
  • 1 tsp Cardamom, Green / ஏலக்காய் - powder
  • 500 ml Oil / எண்ணெய் - to fry
  • 1 tbsp Ghee / நெய்

Instructions
 

  • Mix maida, chiroti rava, salt, ghee, water in a bowl, knead to a dough and set aside
  • Boil milk and allow it to condense
  • Soak saffron in warm milk and add to the boiling milk
  • Add cardamom powder and sugar and mix well until sugar dissolves
  • Heat oil in a frying pan
  • Take a small ball of dough, roll into a circle
  • Fry in oil in medium flame until golden brown
  • Soak the fried poori in milk for 5~10min and set aside
  • Decorate with almonds
  • Serve hot or cold
