Ingredients
  

  • 1 bunch Spinach leaves / பசலைக்கீரை
  • ½ cup Masoor Dhal - cooked
  • 3 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய்
  • 3 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
  • 3 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala powder
  • ½ cup Fenugreek leaves, Dry / வெந்தய இலை, உலர்ந்தது
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 3 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek seed / வெந்தயம்
  • 2 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய்

Instructions
 

  • Heat 1tbsp oil in a pan
  • Add 2 onions and cook till transparent
  • Add 2 tomatoes cook until mushy
  • Add green chili, spinach and cook for 5mins in low flame
  • Allow it cool, then blend it to a fine paste, keep aside
  • Heat rest of 1tbsp of oil
  • Add rest of onion, cook till slightly brown
  • Add rest of tomato, cook it for 4~5mins in medium flame
  • Add the paste, masoor dhal, kasuri methi, salt cook for 2 mins
  • Add garam masala powder and cook for 2~3mins
  • Temper fenugreek in rest of oil
  • Add dry red chili and fry
  • Pour over the curry
  • Serve hot with rice or roti
