Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Parval - long cut
  • 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
  • 2 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - finely chopped
  • 10 pod Garlic / பூண்டு
  • 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add onion and garlic and sauté until raw smell goes off
  • Add tomatoes sauté until mushy
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala and mix well
  • Add parval, salt and mix well
  • Add ½water and cook the parval till tender
  • Serve hot with rice or roti
