Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - diced
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
  • 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
  • 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil / நல்லெண்ணெய்
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Temper mustard
  • Add curry leaves and fry
  • Add potato and sauté well
  • Add turmeric powder, asafoetida, red chili powder, salt and mix well
  • Cook in medium flame, stirring occasionally, allow to golden fry in the bottom
  • Serve hot with roti and rice
