Potato Fry Curry
Ingredients
- 500 gm Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - diced
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 1 tbsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
- 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
- 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
- 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை
- 2 tbsp Sesame Oil / நல்லெண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan
- Temper mustard
- Add curry leaves and fry
- Add potato and sauté well
- Add turmeric powder, asafoetida, red chili powder, salt and mix well
- Cook in medium flame, stirring occasionally, allow to golden fry in the bottom
- Serve hot with roti and rice
