Rava Dosai
Ingredients
- 1 cup Wheat Rava
- ½ cup Rice flour / அசிரி மாவு
- ¼ cup Maida
- 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
- 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு
- 1 tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
- 2 tbsp Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை - finely chopped
- 3 – 4 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - finely chopped
- ½ cup Sour Curd / தயிர் புளித்தது
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 1 – 1½ tsp Water / தண்ணீர்
Instructions
- Mix rava, rice flour, maida, sour curd with enough water until no lumps are formed
- The batter should be in pour consistency
- Allow it to rest for 10~15min
- Add onion, green chili, black pepper, cumin, coriander, curry leaves, salt and mix well
- Check consistency again, if required add little more water
- Heat dosa tawa
- Pour the batter using a ladle from outward to form a semi-circle and repeat same for another half so that it makes a full circle
- Pour oil along the sides and cook for about 1~2min
- Serve hot with coconut chutney and/or red chutney and/or sambar
