Shahi Mutter Paneer
Ingredients
- 200 gm Paneer - cut into cubes
- 1 cup Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி
- 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - randomly chopped
- 2 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - randomly chopped
- 5 nos Garlic / பூண்டு - randomly chopped
- 1 inch Ginger / இஞ்சி - randomly chopped
- 10 nos Cashew nut / முந்திரிப் பருப்பு
- 50 ml Fresh Cream / க்ரீம்
- 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 2 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய் - use Ghee as an alternate
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add garlic, sauté for 2min
- Add ginger sauté for a min
- Add cashew nuts, fry until golden brown
- Add onion, sauté until golden brown
- Add tomato sauté until mushy
- Allow it to cool
- Blend into a coarse paste
- Pour it back to the same pan
- Add green peas, salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder, mix well
- Bring to a boil
- Add paneer cubes and bring to a boil
- Garnish with coriander leaves
Notes
Server hot along with rotis or rice
