Shell Pasta with Brocolli and Parmesan Cheese
Ingredients
- 400 gm Shell Pasta - cooked until al dente
- 200 gm Broccoli - cut into small flowerets
- 400 gm Tomato / தக்காளி - well ripen and finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Garlic / பூண்டு - minced
- 100 gm Parmesan cheese - powdered
- 50 gm Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி
- 1 tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - powdered
- ½ tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம் - powdered
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - (adjust to your taste)
- 1 tsp Parsley leaves, Fresh - dried
- 1 tsp Basil leaves, Fresh - dried
- ½ tsp Oregano - dried
- 50 ml Olive oil / ஆலிவ் எண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Tabasco Pepper Sauce - (optional)
Instructions
- Heat little oilive oil in a pan
- Add garlic, sauté for a min
- Add broccoli, peas, sauté until soft
- Switch off the flame, mix with parmesan cheese, salt
- Stuff them in each shell pasta, keep aside
- Heat remaining oil in the same pan
- Add tomato, cook until the puree
- Add salt, pepper, cumin powder, basil, parsley, oregano
- Add tabasco pepper sauce (optional), mix well
- Arrange the stuffed shell pasta gently over the puree
- Close, simmer it for 10min
- Garnish with additional parmesan, basil
