Tandoori Gobi
Ingredients
- 1 nos Cauliflower - chopped into florets [I made it with whole cauliflower though]
- 2½ cup Yogurt / தயிர் - hung in a cloth for 45min
- ½ tbsp Ginger / இஞ்சி - paste
- 3 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - crushed
- 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 1 tsp Coriander powder / மல்லித் தூள்
- 1 tsp Chaat Masala
- ½ tsp Carom seeds
- 1 tsp Fenugreek leaves, Dry / வெந்தய இலை, உலர்ந்தது
- 2 tbsp Besan flour / கடலை மாவு - roasted
- 2 ts[ Lemon / எலுமிச்சம் பழம் - juice
- 1 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
Instructions
- Steam cauliflower florets along with little salt for 5min
- Switch off and let the florets rest in boiled water for 5min
- Drain water, keep aside
- Mix all ingredients well
- Add cauliflower florets and mix well
- Marinate for 1~2hr
- Pre-heat oven to 200°C
- Grill or bake for 25~30min or until they are golden brown
- Garnish with coriander leaves
