Thayir Vadai
Ingredients
- 10 nos Medu Vadai / மெது வடை
- 200 ml Curd / தயிர் - whisked
- 500 ml Buttermilk
- ½ cup Coconut / தேங்காய் - grated
- 2 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய்
- 1 bunch Curry leaves, Fresh / கருவேப்பிலை - chopped
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
- ½ cup Kara boondi / காரா பூந்தி
- ½ cup Sev
- ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு
- 1 tsp Chaat Masala - optional
Instructions
- Grind coconut and green chili into a fine paste
- Mix the above paste with whisked curd along with little salt, keep aside
- Dip hot vadai into the buttermilk for 2~3min
- Drain and soak in the whisked curd mix
- Garnish with curry leaves, coriander leaves, boondi, sev and chat masala on top and serve
