Ingredients
  

  • 500 gm Tindora - thin round cut
  • 3 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
  • 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள் - adjust to your spice level
  • 1 tsp Mango powder, Dry
  • 1 tsp Sambar Masala powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
  • 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Temper mustard in it and add asafoetida and mix well
  • Add tindora little by little and sauté well
  • Add all ingredients, mix well and cook closed until tender in low flame, do not add water the water from the closed lid is enough
  • Stir every now and then
  • Once tindora is cooked open the lid and allow it to fry a little
  • Serve hot with any rice item
