Veg Sheek Kebab
Ingredients
- 1 cup Roasted Gram flour
- 1 tbsp Ghee / நெய்
- 1 tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
- 1 tsp Garlic / பூண்டு - paste
- 1 tsp Ginger / இஞ்சி - paste
- 4 tbsp Carrot / காரெட் - grated
- ½ cup Onion / வெங்காயம் - finely chopped
- 2 tbsp French Beans, Fresh - chopped
- 2 nos Potato / உருளைக் கிழங்கு - boiled
- ½ tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு - powdered
- 5 nos Almond / பாதாம் - crushed
- 5 nos Cashew nut / முந்திரிப் பருப்பு - crushed
- ½ cup Cheese - grated
- 2 nos Green Chili, Fresh / பச்சை மிளகாய் - finely chopped
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
- 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்
- 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
- 1 tsp Fennel seed / சோம்பு - powdered
- 1 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan
- Add cumin seeds and allow it to splutter
- Add garlic, onion and sauté until golden brown
- Add ginger and sauté well
- Add carrot, beans, potato, black pepper, green chili, red chili powder, garam masala powder, fennel powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well
- Allow it to cook for about 2~3min
- Add almond, cashew, grated cheese and mix well
- Add besan/roasted gram flour to make the mixture into a dough
- Switch off the flame
- Chill the dough in fridge for about 30min to firm up
- Pre-heat the GOT for 5~6min
- Settle the dough on the tandoor rod for roasting
- Brush little oil over it
- Roast the set sheek kebab inside the tandoor
- Once roasted, serve hot with tomato ketchup or mint chutney
