Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Rice flour / அசிரி மாவு
  • 2 tsp Urad Dhal / உளுத்தம் பருப்பு
  • ¾ cup Jaggery / வெல்லம் - grated
  • 4 tbsp Coconut / தேங்காய் - fine sliced
  • 2 tsp Ginger powder, Dry / சுக்குப் பொடி
  • 2 tsp Sesame seed, White / எள்ளு, வெள்ளை
  • 2 nos Cardamom, Green / ஏலக்காய் - powdered
  • 500 ml Oil / எண்ணெய் - to fry

Instructions
 

  • Dry roast rice flour a little, keep aside
  • Dry roast urad dhal until golden brown and grind into a fine powder
  • Mix rice flour, urad dhal powder, white sesame, dry ginger powder, cardamom powder well
  • Clean jaggery and dissolve in water
  • Boil the syrup until it forms a ball consistency
  • Pour the syrup into the flour mixture and mix well to get such a consistency that it should not have lumps, should form a shape when holding at the same
  • Make 1inch balls with the above mix
  • Fry them in oil under medium flame until golden brown
  • Drain oil and store in an airtight container
  • Serve along with coffee or tea
