Veppampoo Pachadi
Ingredients
- ½ cup Neem flower, Fresh / வேப்பம் பூ
- ½ cup Jaggery / வெல்லம்
- 1 nos Mango, raw / மாங்காய் - cut
- 1 lemon size Tamarind extract / புளிக் கரைசல்
- 1 tsp Mustard seed / கடுகு
- 2 tsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
- ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
Instructions
- Boil tamarind extract along with mango
- Once the mango is tender, add jaggery and allow it to boil until jaggery fully melts
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add mustard and allow it to splutter
- Add neem flower and fry until its color changes
- Add the tamarind extract and bring to a boil
- Serve hot
