Soak rice for about 1hr and dry it over a cloth
Grind it into a smooth flour, sieve it if required
Meanwhile, dissolve jaggery in ½cup of water and boil it
Filter it to remove impurities
Further boil the jaggery water to get to a consistency where you can make a ball when a drop of syrup is dropped into water
Mix the syrup with rice flour, cardamom powder, white sesame and make into a dough
Allow it to rest for 4~5hrs
Take little dough, make it a ball and spread it over a banana leaf greased with oil into 2~2½inch circles
