Grind bread slices into crumbs
Heat oil in a pan
Temper mustard in it
Add chana dhal, urad dhal and fry until golden brown
Add green chili, curry leaves and fry well
Add onion and sauté well until it turns transparent
Add asafoetida, salt and mix well
Add potato, carrot, green peas and cook them well, if required add little water
Fry the above until all the water is drained
Simmer the flame
Add bread crumbs and mix well gently, care if the water is not drained well the bread might form into lumps
Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve hot with ketchup
