Instructions
Mix Chinese yam, red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, amchur, corn flour, little oil, salt, asafoetida well
Allow it to marinate for 20~30min
Heat oil in a pan
Add the marinated Chinese yam, mix well so that oil coats every slice of yam
Slow cook in low flame, occasionally turn the Chinese yam slices so that yam is cooked and roasted as evenly as possible
Add little more oil, if required for the yam to roast well
Notes
Serve hot with any rice item
