Grind onion, 4 tomatoes, dry red chili into a fine paste, do not add water
Heat oil in a pan
Add mustard and allow it to splutter
Add shallots and fry until transparent
Add green chili, curry leaves and fry a little
Add cut tomato (4nos) and fry until mushy
Add the ground onion tomato paste and bring to a boil
Add cumin powder, coriander powder, asafoetida, red chili powder, garam masala powder, salt and mix well
Cook for 5min and switch off the flame
Add macaroni, coriander and mix well
Serve hot
