Mix and wash all dhals well, and soak for 30 minutes
Pressure cook till soft but not overcooked (approx. 3 whistles)
While its hot, mash a little with the back of a spoon
Heat butter in a deep pan
Add cumin seeds, allow to splutter
Add onion, ginger, green chili and stir fry till soft
Add red chili powder and salt
Add dhal and mix well
Bring to a boil
Simmer for 3~4 minutes
Garnish with chopped coriander
Squeeze lemon juice
Serve hot with rice and/or roti
