Heat olive oil in a pan
Add onion and fry them until brown
Simmer the flame and add garlic, thyme, sugr
Stir well occasionally and cook for about 15min or onions are completely brown
Add all purpose flour, stir well and cook for 2~3min
Add cooking wine and stir continuously
Add vegetable broth and bring to a boil in low flame and cook for about 20min
Pre-heat oven to 200°C
Toast the French bread on both sides
Cut the garlic and rub it over the bread
Top grated cheese over the bread
Pour soup in oven safe cups and add little cheese in it (do not mix)
Place a slice of bread on top of each cup
Bake it in the oven for 5min or until the cheese are brown
Sprinkle some more thyme
Serve hot
