Instructions
Pressure cook gooseberry and de-seed it
Grind/Smash the de-seeded gooseberry into a fine paste
Heat oil in a pan
Temper mustards, add turmeric powder, asafoetida
Add the ground paste and mix well
Add salt, red chili powder, fenugreek powder and mix well
Add remaining oil little by little and stir the paste continuously
Once the paste is cooked well, it will stop absorbing oil, stop adding further oil
Allow it to cool
Notes
Store in an airtight dry container
Store in a cool dry place
Never use damp spoon or spatula
