Instructions
Simmer pumpkin along with water, salt, butter, sugar, soy sauce, mirin, fresh chili, cooking alcohol until pumpkin is tender
Strain the pumpkin, keep aside
Bring the remaining liquid into a boil and allow it to boil until it turns syrupy
Garnish over the pumpkin
Notes
Serve hot or cold along with rice
