Grind coconut, green chili, fennel seeds, garlic into fine paste
Heat oil in a pan
Temper with mustard
Add turmeric powder, bay leaf, curry leaves, cinnamon and fry well
Add onion and sauté well until transparent
Add 2cups of water and bring to boil
Add cooked moong dhal, mashed potato, ground masala, salt and mix well
Garnish with coconut oil and coriander leaves
Serve hot with rice, dosai or roti
