Instructions
Soak karamani in adequate water for about 2 hours
Add a pinch of salt and pressure cook for 1 whistle
Drain excess water, keep aside
Heat oil in a pan
Add mustard and allow it to splutter
Add urad dhal and fry until golden brown
Add curry leaves, red chili and fry a little
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, asafoetida and mix well
Add cooked karamani and mix well
Add amchur and mix well
Add coconut an mix well
Serve hot
