Instructions
Heat oil in a pan
Dry roast rice, black pepper separately, allow it cool, keep aside
Grind rice, black pepper, green chili, coconut into a smooth powder. Do not add water while grinding
Add mustard, allow it to splutter
Add channa dhal, urad dhal, curry leaves, fry until golden
Add bitter gourd and sauté well
Add salt, asafoetida, 1cup water, mix well
Close cook for 10min or until bitter gourd is tender
Add the ground powder, mix well
Notes
Serve hot along with rice
