Instructions
Heat oil in a pan
Temper mustard seeds and fry channa dhal
Add curry leaves, ginger, green chili, red chili and fry them well
Add peanuts and fry them well
Add asafoetida, turmeric powder and switch off the flame
Add the above with cooked rice and add salt
Squeeze the lemon juice over the rice and gently mix well, so that the rice does not get broken
Garnish with coriander leaves
Notes
Serve along with any curries or gravies
