Instructions
Pressure cook cucumber, moong dhal along with turmeric powder with 1cup of water for a whistle or two
Dry roast urad dhal, red chili separately, allow it to cool
Grind along with coconut into a fine paste, add as little water as possible
Heat oil in a pan
Add mustard, allow it to splutter
Add urad dhal, channa dhal, curry leaves, fry until golden brown
Add asafoetida, salt, cooked cucumber, moon dhal, ground coconut paste mix well
Add little water if required, bring to a boil
Notes
Serve hot along with rice
