Add salt to the onion and mix well and leave it for 10min
Soak cashew nuts in water for about 5min
Add green chili, ginger, garlic, saunf, coriander leaves, curry leaves, salt, turmeric powder, asafoetida, cashew nuts and mix well and keep it aside
Mix basen, rice flour, red chili powder, and saunf well
Add about 2tbsp of hot oil and mix well again [do not add water]
Add the onion mix to above and mix well, add little water only if required
Fry the mix in medium flame until turns brown in colour
