Instructions
Heat 2~3tsp of oil in a pan
Saute the onions until they are soft and turn translucent
Add tamarind and red chili and sauté them and allow it to cool
Grind them in a mixer into a coarse paste
Heat rest of oil and temper with mustard
When mustard starts to splutter add urad dhal and fry till golden brown
Add the ground onion mix to the pan
Cook them in medium flame until the mix is solidified
Serve with dosa, idly or curd rice

Note
Store in a air tight dry container
Store in a cool dry place
Never use damp spoon or spatula
