Instructions
Heat oil in a pan
Sauté red chili, channa dhal, urad dhal until golden brown
Add ridge gourd and sauté well in low flame, allow it to cool
Grind them into a fine paste along with tamarind and asafoetida
Add salt mix well
Serve with rice or roti or dosa
Notes
* When eating with rice, add little sesame oil to enhance the taste
