Soak tamarind in warm water, squeeze and filter it, keep aside
Heat oil in a pan
Season little mustard, urad dhal, channa dhal, red chili
Fry ginger and green chilies until the raw flavor vanishes
Add orange peel and fry for 2min
Add asafoetida, turmeric powder, filtered tamarind water and mix well
Add salt and stir well and allow to boil in medium flame
Add puli inji masala and stir well
Add jaggery and mix well again allow it to boil
Garnish with curry leaves
