Boil 1ltr of water with 1tsp of salt in a vessel
Add soya chunk, stir, switch off the flame and close for 20min
Heat 1tbsp of oil in a pan
Add onion and sauté until translucent
Add tomato and sauté until its mushy, allow it to cool
Blend onion and tomato into fine paste
Heat rest of oil in the pan
Transfer the paste, ginger garlic paste into the pan, cook for 2min in medium flame
Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder, salt, mix well and cook for 5min
Strain soya chunk, do not discard the water
Add soya chunk to the gravy and adjust the thickness of gravy with drained water
Cook for 5min in low flame
Garnish with coriander
Server hot along with any rice or naan or roti
