Dissolve agar/gelatin in 2tbsp of cold water/milk
In a saucer pan heat milk, cream, ½cup of sugar until sugar dissolves
Add dissolved agar and stir well until agar dissolves evenly
Bring to a boil
Remove from heat
Add vanilla extract, mix well
Allow it to cool
Fill in small cups, bring to room temperature, refrigerate overnight or at least 4hrs
Crush strawberries, reserving some whole strawberries
Add rest of sugar, add little water and heat until sugar dissolves
Remove from heat
Blend into smoothie, strain to remove seeds and refrigerate
Top strawberry sauce over the panna cotta
Serve cold
